The Intrepid Amateur

Who Am I

My name is Herb Roseman. I am a philosopher with a Brooklyn attitude. Since retiring from college teaching I wrote two books on science for the intrepid (resolute) amateur, a person who is not a scientist but wants to read science in its natural language, mathematics. I wrote a memoir on growing up in Brooklyn in the 1950s.

It occurred to me that I am a intrepid amateur writer. I am sharing my books and essays hoping that feedback will help me to become a better writer.
